Subsidence Procurement

How do you procure your subsidence services?

• Fixed term contract with or without delegated authority?
• Ad hoc, as the need arises?
• Do you want project managed or bespoke subsidence claim handling?
• Do you want fixed fees or hourly rates or perhaps a hybrid fee model?
• Is your procurement model flexible?

Typically, it comes down to either a project managed service or a traditional service. We can offer either and at competitive rates.

In project managed subsidence claims, we will appoint a case handler who will have ownership from start to finish. We will agree with you what the claim process will be and under what circumstances ground investigations are undertaken. We are happy to use your existing supplier network for such things as drainage repairs, site investigations, building repairs and underpinning. However, you may want to try our preferred method of using independent contractors and free tendering.

If you are focussed on customer service, for example specialist HNW insurance, then you would probably prefer a traditional approach where there is an adjuster controlling the direction of the claim but technical investigations are carried out by or under the direction of experienced surveyors and engineers. Sometimes, speed isn’t everything; quality has a value.
